~ I thought a lot about this worship song today. It has so much meaning for so many reasons. I realized another meaning today. It gives me comfort knowing that when someone dies that they are beautiful and new. I lost a future mother in law this past week, she was beautiful and wonderful. It hurts that so many people, that love her, are missing out on time with her that they were expecting. We know people die but we all have expectations on how long we get to enjoy their company. Joyce was a beautiful woman that I was able to know for almost three years. I’m thankful for all of the hugs, laughter, I love you’s, cards, encouragement, holidays, gifts, and conversations. This song reminds me that I was able to experience this beautiful being but now she is even more beautiful in her most perfect form and she has been made new. There will still be moments when it’s hard, when I miss her but I can remind myself that she’s where she’d meant to be and she was ready to go with all the peace and love possible.
